Overview
7 days Kenya & gorilla trek is an incredible wildlife and primate safari for 6nights/7days of visiting savanna and forest parks. It is a complete wildlife and primate adventure inclusive of guided game viewing in the Maasai Mara National Reserve and gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda.
Masai Mara National Reserve is a 1510sq.kms protected area, located in the Southwestern Kenya. It is a rich habitat to a number of wildlife but most importantly, the wildebeests, big five game, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, antelopes, 500 bird species and more.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of top visited parks in the world for gorilla trekking. Treks are conducted to see mountain gorillas and over 459 of the world’s 1063 of these large apes live in Bwindi. The park lies in the Southwestern side of Uganda and occupies 331sq.kms of land area, established in 1991.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (BINP) from Kampala/Kigali
After breakfast in Kigali/Kampala, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park your gorilla trekking location in Uganda. Driving from Kigali takes 4-5 hours and from Kampala 8-9 hours, but comes with en-route stopover at Equator crossing and other sites.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking & visiting the Batwa
Start your morning with tasty breakfast, after you will drive to Bwindi N/Park offices to be briefed about your entire gorilla trekking adventure. Get a gorilla family to visit and at 8:00am, you will be led to see mountain gorillas a trek likely to go for 2-6 hours but inclusive of one-hour magical encounter.
Mountain gorillas’ live families and in Bwindi 20 habituated gorilla groups exist. Each of these will be visited by maximum of 8 people per day. 4 sectors are in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where mountain gorillas reside from. After a good moment with these large apes, you will return to the lodge and in the evening, go for Batwa pygmies’ cultural tour.

Day 3: Lake Bunyonyi
Breakfast early morning, after you will be transferred in a 4×4 vehicle to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale. Have the whole day at Lake Bunyonyi, Africa’s 3rd deepest lake and also one of the few freshwater Lakes in the world. Also referred to as place of little birds, Lake Bunyonyi is unique consisting of 29 islands and many birds. Today is a great chance to visit one of the islands preferably the punishment island where unmarried girls were dumped to die and lots of birds will as well be sighted.

Day 4: Masai Mara
Wake up for an early breakfast, after connect to Kihihi/Kisoro airstrip for flight to Entebbe or drive to Kigali and fly to Masai Mara National Reserve.

Day 5-6: Enjoy wildebeest migration & big game drive
Have two days of exploring the 1510sq.kms Masai Mara National Reserve to see over 1.5 million wildebeest plus zebras, giraffes, elands during the wildebeest migration experience. The Mara River crossing will be your key area of interest for the two days of game viewing in the Maasai Mara National Reserve and in addition, enjoy view of the big five game.

Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, leave Maasai Mara National Reserve for Nairobi city -this journey is likely to take 6 hours. Check in at the hotel in Nairobi or drop off at the lodge.
